These terms cover Orshi: the software plumbing companies use, and the text messages and web pages their customers receive through it.
Who runs this service
Orshi is operated by Solomon Schmidt, a sole proprietor. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Solomon Schmidt. You can reach us at gcisolomon@gmail.com.
What the service does
Orshi lets a plumbing company take requests by text message, schedule its technicians, send estimates, quotes and invoices, take payment, and keep its customers informed about their jobs.
Each plumbing company using Orshi is an independent business. It is responsible for the work it carries out, for the technicians it sends, and for the prices it sets, including any estimate or quote you receive from it. Solomon Schmidt does not carry out plumbing work.
SMS Terms
When you text a plumbing company that uses Orshi, you are asked whether you agree to receive text messages about your job before any of your details are taken. If you reply YES, the company may text you about that job, and its next message tells you how often, that rates may apply, and how to stop.
The same is true of the chat on a plumbing company's own website. You are asked the same question before any of your details are taken, and if you reply YES and give a phone number for updates, that number is sent a text message saying how often, that rates may apply, and how to stop.
The messages are about your own job only: replies while you arrange the visit, a message when a technician accepts it, a message when they are on the way, any change or cancellation, links to an estimate, quote or invoice with a reminder if one is still open, and a request for a review afterward. There is no marketing.
How many messages you receive depends on the job, not on a fixed schedule. A simple visit may be a handful of messages; a job with an estimate, a change of time and an invoice will be more.
Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP at any time to stop all text messages from that company. You will get one message confirming it, and nothing after that. Reply START to turn them back on.
Reply HELP for help. You will get the company's name and a phone number that reaches its team.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Acceptable use
A plumbing company using Orshi agrees to:
- text only people who have agreed to receive messages, and stop as soon as they ask;
- use the service only for its own customers and its own work;
- not send anything unlawful, misleading or abusive;
- not try to reach another company's information, or get around the limits built into the service;
- keep each person's password to that person.
We may suspend an account that does not follow these rules.
Limitation of liability
We work to keep Orshi running and accurate, but we provide it as it is, and we cannot promise that it will always be available or free of errors.
We are not responsible for the plumbing work itself, for the prices a company sets, or for losses caused by a message that was delayed or not delivered. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. When we do, we will update this page and the date at the top of it. If you keep using Orshi after that, the new terms apply.
