Who runs this service

Orshi is operated by Solomon Schmidt, a sole proprietor. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Solomon Schmidt.

What we collect

If you contact a plumbing company that uses Orshi, we collect:

• your name;
• your phone number, and your email address if you give it;
• the address where the work is needed;
• what you tell us about the work you need, and the messages between you and the company;
• photographs of the work, taken by the technician (see Photographs below);
• whether you agreed to receive text messages, when you agreed, and the exact words you were shown.

If you work for a plumbing company that uses Orshi, we hold your name, your contact details, your working hours and time off, and a record of what you do in the software.

If you pay an invoice online, you enter your card details on our payment provider's own page. We never see or store your card number; we keep a record that the payment was made.

If you use the chat on a plumbing company's own website, the chat keeps one random code in your browser so that you can pick up the conversation where you left it. It is used for nothing else, it cannot see the website around it, and clearing your browser's data removes it.

These pages and the customer pages use no advertising trackers, and we do not follow you across other websites.

Why we use it

We use this information to arrange and carry out the plumbing work you asked for, and to keep you informed about your own job: when a visit is requested, when a technician accepts it, when they are on the way, if anything changes, and what the work costs.

We do not use it to advertise to you, and we do not send marketing messages.

Orshi uses an AI service to help read what you write: which language you are writing in, how urgent the problem sounds, and what kind of service it needs. It helps; it does not make decisions about your job. Nothing is scheduled, moved or cancelled because the AI suggested it.

Photographs

Technicians take photographs of the work -- before they start and after they finish -- as a record of what was wrong and what was done. Because the work is in your home or business, a photograph may show part of the inside of it.

When a technician's phone offers it, we record where a photograph was taken. Only the plumbing company's office can see that. It is never shown to you or anyone else, and it is never kept inside the photograph: everything a phone stores inside a photograph, such as its location and the phone's make and model, is removed before the photograph is kept.

Only the plumbing company that did the work can see its photographs. They are kept in private storage run by our storage provider, and nothing about them is public: each time someone looks at one, it is through a link that stops working after a few minutes. You see a photograph only if the company puts it on your own estimate, quote or invoice.

We use photographs to show you what a price is for, to show what work was done, and as evidence of the work if a payment is disputed. We do not use them for advertising, and no AI service is shown them.

Photographs are kept as part of the record of the job for as long as the plumbing company uses Orshi. Nothing deletes them on a timer.

To ask for a photograph to be removed, email gcisolomon@gmail.com or ask the plumbing company. A photograph taken before the work is finished can be deleted right away. After that it is part of the job's record: the company can hide it, and we will delete it for good if you ask.

Who we share it with

We share your information only with:

• the plumbing company you contacted, which uses it to do your job. Each company sees only its own customers;
• the service providers we need to run Orshi: text messaging, email delivery, card payments, hosting, photograph storage, and the AI service described above. They handle it only to provide their service to us.

Nobody else. We do not sell your information.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Text messages

If you agree to receive text messages, the plumbing company you contacted will text you about your own job: replies while you arrange the visit, a message when a technician accepts it, a message when they are on the way, any change or cancellation, links to an estimate, quote or invoice with a reminder if one is still open, and a request for a review afterward.

Message frequency varies by job.

Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP at any time to stop all text messages from that company. You will get one message confirming it, and nothing after that. Reply HELP for help, and START to turn messages back on.

Messages that are not about an emergency are only sent between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM in your own local time.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as the plumbing company you dealt with uses Orshi, because the history of work on your home is what makes the next visit easier. If you ask us to delete it, we will. We may keep the record that your number asked not to be texted, so that we keep honoring it.

Seeing, correcting or deleting your information

Email gcisolomon@gmail.com with the phone number or email address you used. We will tell you what we hold about you, and correct or delete it if you ask.

You can also ask the plumbing company you dealt with.

Children

Orshi is for arranging work on a home or business. It is not meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect information about them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
